Your Role at Hostinger

As a Linux System Administrator you will play a vital role in building monitoring maintaining automating and supporting our expanding infrastructure which hosts over 7 million websites. Your efforts will ensure seamless service delivery for our customers. Collaborating closely with System and Software Engineers you will have opportunities to delve into complex challenges continuously learn and enhance your expertise to become a top-tier professional in the field.

Your day-to-day

Collaborate in Shift Rotations:Respond to product service alerts and incidents especially for WHM/cPanel services ensuring rapid and effective solutions.
Troubleshoot Production Issues:Utilize tools like Prometheus Grafana and Kibana with full access to our infrastructure to debug and resolve complex production issues.
Maintain Linux Servers:Handle regular maintenance tasks to keep our Linux servers operating at peak performance.
Enhance Our Tools and Software:Continuously and rapidly improve the tools and software stack with a strong focus on efficiency.
Drive Automation Across Projects:Optimize and automate processes using scripting and Ansible boosting team productivity.
Solve Complex Technical Problems:Deep dive into the technical stack of WHM/cPanel products identify and document root causes of any imperfections and work collaboratively with your team and others to resolve them.

Your skills and experience

Linux System Expertise:Experience in Linux system administration with a strong passion for monitoring especially in hosting or WHM/cPanel environments and ensuring systems run smoothly through monitoring-driven operations.
Outstanding Communication:Excellent ability to convey clear and concise information to all stakeholders ensuring everyone stays aligned and informed.
Meticulous Attention to Detail:A sharp eye for details ensuring that nothing is overlooked and every aspect of the workflow is fine-tuned.
Problem-Solving Skills:A deep technical mindset with the ability to dive into complex issues debug effectively and resolve them with precision.
Troubleshooting Expertise:Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues across system layers including OS application network firewall and service stacks.
Continuous Learning:A hunger for growth and innovation always seeking new ways to improve and expand your skill set.
Team-Oriented Approach:A collaborative team player with a proactive go-for-it attitude who thrives in both synchronous and asynchronous communication environments.
Scripting Expertise:Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or similar for automating processes.
Experience with WHM/cPanel:Hands-on knowledge of managing and troubleshooting WHM/cPanel environments.

Compensation

Gross salary from Rp- Rpgross/month (depending on your experience)
