Job Summary

Job Summary

Reviews and analyzes data and develops reports to summarize inventory control data. Acts as a resource to staff managers and other departments related to area of specialty.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and generates reports or forms and distributes to appropriate people monitoring information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Communicates collaborates and acts as a consultant to staff management and other departments in order to educate and ensure continuity and coordination of services.

  • Analyzes data to maintain appropriate inventory levels and reorder points to maximize inventory turns.

  • Reviews stock outages on a daily basis.

  • Manages the cycle count process on a daily basis.

  • Analyzes monthly reports to identify low usage items and facilitate the removal of them in conjunction with purchasing.

  • Analyzes stocking locations to ensure appropriate space is allocated in all warehouse locations.

  • Ensures that required documentation for activities within areas of responsibility is performed in an accurate and timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of relevant experience inventory management or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
