The Associate Director US Oncology Field Medical Portfolio Strategy a key member of the US Oncology Field Medical leadership team responsible for driving strategic portfolio oversight planning and execution across the Field Medical organization. This role focuses onoptimizingMedical Science Liaison (MSL) support forclinical trialexecution leading complex portfolio prioritizationand strategicinitiativesoptimizingworkflowsand enabling impactful scientific engagements thatbenefitpatients. The Associate Director partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and supports the development and implementation of innovative field medical strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic PlanningExecutionand Collaboration
Support strategic planning and execution for the US Oncology Field Medical(FM)portfolioaligned to organizational and enterprise priorities including launch readiness successful launch execution clinical trial acceleration andscientific engagement initiatives.
Lead and coordinate above-brand initiatives including patient outcome imperatives performance improvement and proactive MSL programs aligned with business needs.
Collaborate with Field MedicalOncologyOperations Medical Affairs CommercialStrategy and Operations BI&TFieldMedical Strategy andOperationsMedical Excellence ClinicalOperationsand other stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance efficiencyto drive Field Medical Excellence.
Drive implementation of ways of working across functions (training TASClinical Operationsetc.)to strengthen collaborationaccelerate decision-making and improve execution
Contribute tocongress strategy and post-congress communication deliverables ensuringtimelyand effective dissemination of insights.
Facilitate coordination across commercial medical and launch teams for portfolio-specific initiatives and congresses.
Support FM-led clinical trial execution including acceleration efforts site engagement activitiesresources and Clinical Operationscollaborationincludingeffective ways of working.
Support clinical trial reporting analytics and insights related to trial support initiatives.
AI Enablement and Digital Transformation
Driveinnovation and continuous improvement initiatives including AI-enabledenhancements workflow optimization best practice sharing toenhance Field Medicalefficiencies.
Identifyevaluateand support adoption of new tools digital solutions and process enhancements that streamline Field Medicaloperations
Develop and supportbest practice sharing training andinitiatives for AI AI-enabledsystemsanddigital workflows in partnership withFM leadership Medical Excellence ITand Operations.
Field Medical Organizational Excellence
Provide strategic insight and direction as a member of the Oncology Field Medical Strategy & Execution team.
Support FM capability programs includingonboardingskills and scientifictraining needs mentorship accountabilities
Contribute to the development of frameworks to assessmeasureand demonstrate MSLimpact and value supporting standardization and clarity in role value
Drive effective execution of FM initiatives including executive thought leader engagementsproactive initiatives patient outcome imperativesscientific engagement medicalinsightandcongress deliverables thatdemonstrateFM impact.
People Development Culture and Engagement
Contribute to the development of cultural initiatives that promote diversity inclusionaccountabilityintegrityand a collaborative work environment.
Support MSL growth anddevelopmentincludingidentifyingand developing initiativesto foster and elevate talent.
Support culture-building programs and engagement activities to strengthen team connection and sharedpurpose.
Assistin mentorship programs(MSL PharmD Fellow APPE students)and team development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degreerequired; advanced degree (MBA PharmD PhD MD)stronglypreferred.
Minimum5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry withsignificant experiencein oncology field medical strategy medical affairs or operations.
Proventrack recordof developing and executing portfolio-specific strategies including launch executionand supporting clinical trials.
Experiencedriving strongcross-functionalcollaborationandeffectively working within a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability toleveragedata and analytics for strategic decision-making.
Experience with congress planning launch operations and customer model strategy.

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job such as required skills where the job is performed the employees work schedule job-related knowledge and experience. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off
US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited with manager approval 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt Non-Exempt Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval 11 national holidays and 3 optional holidays
Based on eligibility* additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time up to 2 paid volunteer days per year summer hours flexibility leaves of absence for medical personal parental caregiver bereavement and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.
*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. On-site Protocol
BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential site-by-design field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
