Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting and providing support to the recreation department by arranging executing and observing all indoor and outdoor activities and ensuring they are done so in a safe manner. Using a creative assortment of methods assist in the promotion of recreation operations and activities to internal and external this position you will provide excellent customer service and assist in maintaining the pool and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Establish par inventory and set up for the summer season.
Design and function of pool spaces and usage pattern flows
Provide recreation information to guests including but not limited to price timing and location.
Record guest reservations in the appropriate log and assist in the preparation of activities.
Assist in creating participation and implementation of recreation programs.
Attend to pool-related needs including but not limited to retrieving fresh towels relocating chairs and/or umbrellas and issuing recreational equipment.
Arrange and clean pool furniture and umbrellas in a neat and visually appealing order specific to the property procedures throughout all pool areas during each shift.
Monitor the use of equipment and facilities and report any hazards immediately.
Qualifications
Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours but its also a lot of fun!
Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others. Excellent phone skills needed.
People Person. The best part of recreation is having fun with guests and enjoying group interactions.
Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate to any guest or associate.
A qualified applicant is a people person who is flexible with their schedule loves to serve others and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
