About the role
This role will drive and oversee multiple initiatives aligned with the long-term organizational vision. This role is accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our executions and for delivering insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver for one of our leading clients at WPP Media. The Associate Director will work with a team by managing and developing media measurement frameworks and learning agendas across a range of markets while synthesizing outcomes through insights generation and recommended actions.

- Marketing Strategy Measurement Evolution & Client Engagement -
- Strategic Planning & Vision: Develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing plans and objectives in building robust measurement frameworks A/B testing and learning agendas
- Client Relationship Oversight: Provides oversight and strategic direction for all client side measurement relationships ensuring maximum satisfaction and value.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead effective communication and collaboration with measurement partners to ensure successful campaign measurement is in place.
- Departmental Problem-Solving: Guides the Brand Analytics team based in India in addressing unforeseen challenges by applying critical thinking tonavigate complex issues.
- Markets covered - Japan Korea India and Australia.
Analytics & Innovation
- Campaign Performance Strategy: Collaborate with client teams to define key questions for evaluating campaign performance and leverage data sources to provide actionable insights.
- Analytical Capability Advancement: Work with the broader analytics team to adopt new methodologies techniques tools and systems that drive best in class analytical capabilities across the agency.
- Best Practices: Drives technical strategy ensuring the use of cutting-edge tools and techniques across teams and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Measurement Tool Innovation: Spearhead the design and development of innovative measurement tools managing the process through to global delivery and implementation.
- Innovation Champion: Champions department-wide innovation and challenges the status quo.
Leadership & Team Development
- Strategic Oversight: Oversees a team and/or workstreams ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives. -
- Collaboration & Communication: Champions department-wide collaboration and seamless communication. - - -
- Talent Management: Recruit manage and mentor analytical resources ensuring efficient workflow and the ongoing professional development of the team.
- Mentorship & Leadership Development: Serve as a role model and mentor actively contributing to the development of future leaders within the organization.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration within the department and implement effective communication strategies.
A bit about yourself:
- Degree from a top-tier College Bachelor above or equivalent (preferably numerical)
- 6 years of extensive experience working in a measurement market research and / or data-based role
- Proven experience strategically managing a team and team and multiple workstreams with the ability to delegate effectively
- Extensive exposure to measurement of Brand Awareness campaigns. Understanding of conversion campaigns is a plus.
- Deep experience in media measurement is required
- Exceptional at presenting complex data in a visually engaging and insightful manner that drives organizational action
- Superior organizational and program management skills
- Expert understanding of what data points can be collected and analyzed in a digital campaign and how each data point should be analyzed
- Established and professional communication presentation and motivational skills capable of influencing executive stakeholders
