Our Scorecards & Analytical Services team within S&P Global Market Intelligence delivers critical credit risk management services including analytical support training and credit risk assessments to clients across Greater China. This high-growth team applies regulatory-compliant and industry best practices for the development and enhancement of internal rating systems enabling top financial institutions to make informed decisions for capital calculations risk management pricing and investment strategies.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Drive business growth of our Scorecards & Analytical Services across the Greater China region by identifying new opportunities and actively engaging in the sales process.
Deliver credit risk management services to clients including scorecard implementation credit risk analysis and risk advisory.
Engage directly with clients providing credit analytical support and training and solving complex credit risk challenges for risk managers and senior stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier financial institutions offering technical expertise in credit risk analysis and industry best practices.
Contribute to thought leadership and business development through market research white papers and industry presentations positioning S&P Global Market Intelligence as the premier risk analytics partner.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Degree in Finance Economics Statistics Mathematics or related quantitative fields.
6 years of relevant experience in Corporate or Infrastructure credit risk analysis (rating agency large bank investing institution) and/or financial risk advisory experiences (big consulting firms).
Strong industry knowledge in banking risk management and regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV local regulatory requirements).
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with clients across Greater China markets.
We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex credit risk projects for internal stakeholders or external clients demonstrating robust project management skills including project scoping timeline management and stakeholder communication.
Strong communication skills with the ability to integrate and convey complex information within a specialized domain crucial for advising senior clients and internal leadership effectively.
Collaborative approach engaging with and influencing peers and immediate leadership to achieve shared goals and enhance client solutions.
Proactive in identifying new opportunities for innovation and leveraging relevant data to develop tailored client solutions and improve existing approaches.
