What Youll Do

As the Health Services Manager youll provide strong clinical and operational leadership to ensure residents receive exceptional client-centered care. Youll:

• Lead and promote a Client-Directed philosophy ensuring every decision puts residents first
• Oversee the electronic client documentation system and ensure quality standards are met
• Build trusted partnerships with residents and families through open communication
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Lead mentor and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and service
• Collaborate on assessments care planning and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Manage human resources activities policy implementation and operational efficiency
• Step in to support clinical staff as needed to maintain seamless care delivery

What You Bring

• A clinical background with relevant education and credentials (e.g. Nursing Allied Health or another regulated healthcare discipline)
• Active registration and good standing with the appropriate Nova Scotia regulatory body
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven ability to lead with empathy integrity and accountability
• Strong understanding of supervision healthcare operations and best practices in care delivery
• Knowledge of applicable regulations collective agreements and sector standards
• A collaborative innovative mindset and passion for continuous improvement
