Toyotas Manufacturing IT Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated OpCenter Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this role is to design configure and support Siemens OpCenter solutions for manufacturing quality and logistics processes.

Reporting to the Siemens MOM Product Owner the person in this role will support the Manufacturing IT departments objective to deliver a reliable and scalable MES platform for the Liberty battery plant.

This position is based in the Battery Plant in Liberty NC. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.

What youll be doing

• Configure and customize Siemens OpCenter to meet manufacturing and business requirements

• Develop workflows data models and user interfaces within the OpCenter platform

• Build and maintain integrations between OpCenter and ERP PLC SCADA and other plant systems

• Develop scripts APIs and data connectors to support system functionality and integration

• Troubleshoot MES-related issues and implement performance improvements in production environments

• Support testing activities including unit and system testing of OpCenter functionality

• Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

What you bring

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3 years of experience implementing or supporting MES platforms preferably Siemens OpCenter

• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems and shopfloor systems (PLC SCADA)

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/programming language (e.g. JavaScript C# Python)

• Experience developing APIs or working with system integrations

Added bonus if you have

• Experience with Siemens OpCenter modules (Discrete Foundation Quality Logistics)

• Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments

• Experience with Mendix/Ignition or other low-code platforms

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
