Job Summary

Bismarck Public Schools is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to teach English Language Learners at the Adult Learning Center.

Students in this program represent a variety of language backgrounds and proficiency levels. The instructor will work with small groups and must be able to differentiate instruction monitor student progress and determine when students are ready to advance to the next level.

Position Details:

Teach English language classes: 5:307:30 PM three evenings per week
Up to 12 hours per week
Additional time allotted for lesson preparation and staff meetings

Key Responsibilities:

Provide engaging level-appropriate instruction for adult learners
Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Track and assess student progress
Support students in achieving language proficiency goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience teaching EL and Adult students preferred
