Job Summary

We are hiring for one of our telecom clients a leading organisation operating large-scale service provider networks seeking experienced IP professionals to support advanced routing switching and datacom environments.

Job Responsibilities

To understand the OSI reference model and to master the basic principles of TCP/IP protocol.
To master the Ethernet/layer2 switching/VLAN principle/Spanning Tree/Bridge Domain/VXLAN
To master the mainstream WAN link (PPP/POS and so on) the working mode and the application scene.
To master the principle of OSPF/ISIS/BGP the high-level characteristics and the complex application scene to master the route import the route policy principle and application scene.
To understand MPLS L3VPN VPLS/VLL/CCC L2VPN MPLS TE/Multicast/QoS very well.
Understand Datacenter technologies MLAG/EVPN & SRv6 technologies.
The understanding of basic protocol of network management to master the basic principle of SNMP and the network management operating system and the common database commands.
To understand the basic network security knowledge of the firewall working principle. IPSEC ACLs firewall policies and VPN configurations.
To master the basic theory about the high availability (HA) designs and to understand typical technologies (BFD/GR/FRR/FC) principles.
Equipment characteristic the essential performance index the card type and common network of several typical Datacom equipment (Router/Switch/Firewall) /Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Nokia

Qualifications & Requirements ;

Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field.
0 - 1 Year of experience in telecom or service provider network operations.
knowledge of P PE and RR router architectures.
Good knowledge of Ethernet VLANs WAN links and routing policies.
Familiarity with HA network security and performance optimisation.
Excellent analytical communication and troubleshooting skills.
