About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on Network Observability Sensors and Smart Grid development.
You will play a key role in modernizing energy distribution networks by enabling real-time monitoring data collection and analysis contributing to a more intelligent and secure grid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and delivery of the project ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
- Manage scope budget timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate and lead a cross-functional project team
- Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with organizational standards
- Translate business needs into actionable project plans
- Monitor risks dependencies and project performance
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
- Degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 35 years of experience in Project Management
- Proven experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in French (CEFR C2 level)
- Valid Drivers License (Category B)
Nice to Have
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- Experience in Distribution System Operators (DSO) or energy sector
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
Project Context
This role supports the development of a Smart Grid ecosystem aimed at improving network observability and energy flow monitoring.
Key initiatives include:
- Deployment of smart meters at low-voltage (LV) prosumer level
- Monitoring systems for medium-voltage (MV) renewable energy producers
- Enhancing real-time visibility of network performance and security
Additional Information
- Duration: Until November 2027 (with possible 18-month extension)
- Workload: Full-time
- Estimated: 330 working days
- Work model: Hybrid (approx. 3 days on-site per week)
- Locations: Liège & Ans with travel across the network region
- Selection based on 60% quality and 40% price
