What youll do:

As a Loan Officer Assistant youll provide support to Loan Officers by managing administrative tasks related to loan applications including gathering customer documents verifying information preparing loan packages communicating with borrowers and other parties involved in the loan process. Youll also ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately to facilitate the loan approval and closing process.
  • Assist customers on how to e-sign and e-consent when needed. Assist Mortgage Bankers and Loan Processors collecting stips (examples: W-2s and pay stubs).
  • Answer incoming calls when all agents are occupied. Update Encompass when needed.
  • Assist Sales Managers and Loan Officers.
  • Keep Sales Manager updated on expiration dates and status on loans currently in the pipeline.

What youll need:

  • 1 years of related experience in Administrative Support Mortgage or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Products.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $16.90 for Irvine CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
