Job Overview
Marvin Composites is hiring a Quality Analyst at the Fargo ND plant. As a Quality Analyst youll help make sure our products meet customer and quality requirements before they leave the plant. This role focuses on checking products through inspection and testing to make sure they meet quality requirements. Youll review results make decisions on product acceptance and share those decisions with the right people. Youll work closely with production to address issues when products dont meet specs and help improve quality processes over time.
Schedule:
- 12hr Rotating Day Shift: 6:30 AM 6:45 PM
- Week 1 (36hrs): Sun Wed Thur
- Week 2 (48hrs): Mon Tues Fri Sat
- Enjoy a 3-day weekend every other week! Work just 7 out of every 14 days giving you more time for family hobbies or rest.
Highlights of your role
Act as the customer advocate by ensuring the product meets the customers requirements
Preform product testing and inspections to support operations needs
Analyze test results to determine product acceptability
Clearly communicate quality decisions and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues
Initiate containment and corrective action activities for products that do no meet specifications
Document product acceptability including disposition correction and resolution
Identify opportunities to improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Strong computer skills
Accurate print interpretation
Knowledge of quality characteristics and measurement tools
Attention to detail with basic problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Also want to make sure you have
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
Capability to stand/work for a 12-hour shift and to lift carry push and pull various objects weighing between 10lb to 50 lbs to support production needs
Meet the minimum age required of 18 years
