The receptionist supports the daily operations of the Front Office delivering high-quality service to guests and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
What will I be doing
- Manage front desk operations including check-in and check-out procedures
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries and requests
- Maintain effective communication with the Front Office Manager and Supervisors regarding guest feedback and operational matters
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
- Apply knowledge of room categories rates packages and hotel promotions
- Contribute to maximizing occupancy through upselling techniques
- Handle payments in accordance with hotel policies including cash credit cards and foreign currency
- Answer calls through the switchboard system
- Ensure the proper handling and delivery of guest messages correspondence and packages
- Comply with health safety and fire regulations
- Operate front office systems and equipment in line with established procedures
- Participate in training sessions for professional development
- Adhere to brand standards and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations
