Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to more complex client requests received by phone through an advisor or by email
- Process complex client requests and various validation inquiries
- Validate codes RE/TAP data government notices group insurance rate changes new insurance plans etc.
- Plan and organize your workload to meet expectations and deadlines
- Ensure case resolution and followup in accordance with service levels
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
- Work closely with other internal teams
- Act as a resource person during the client retention process
- Participate in various working groups
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- College diploma in administration accounting or a related field or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of payrollrelated experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Proficiency with a payroll application (Nethris Internet Suite or equivalent)
- Proficiency with the Opéra application
- Knowledge of various products solutions and contributions used by clients such as time clocks group insurance CCQ report generators General Ledger interface etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Assets:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Internet navigation
- Training in Understanding Payroll Principles and Mastering Payroll Legislation or the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45 000$75 000. This role is an existing vacancy.
