Position Summary:
The primary role of the Senior Analyst Financial Pricing is to provide support to Director of Pricing and bring data-driven insights and recommendations forward from customer data and other sources that allow the sales team to drive actionable results. Includes monthly quarterly and yearly reporting requirements. Analyzes and reports on variances between budgeted and actual numbers.
Position Responsibilities:
Extracts collects cleanses and prepares data for analysis and reporting.
Standardizes data used and analyzed consistently across the business units.
Understands variances within the financials and helps identify issues.
Designs and develops templates for the purpose of automation and the elimination of redundant work providing analytical support.
Gathers intelligence on Oatey brands and competitor brands in each respective category.
Performs sales brand process and ad-hoc analyses. Develops implements monitors and reports performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure performance metrics.
Evaluates and challenges financial results to forecasts and budget. Partners with business leaders to develop a strong understanding of drivers and trends.
Creates and tracks customer performance new product and line modification P&L.
Develops new analyses that provide improved insight into customer performance. Enhances existing reporting and forecasting process to evaluate channel product and account profitability performance to educate internal stakeholders.
Conducts monthly reviews of commodity index pricing and utilizes costing and sourcing data to ensure market pricing remains aligned with underlying commodity trends.
Calculates monthly reconciliations for redistributed wholesale accounts analyzing unit flows between distribution centers and branch locations to ensure complete and accurate reporting for sales agency commission payouts.
Works collaboratively with Sales Marketing Finance and Product Management to support business objectives.
Knowledge and Experience:
4-6 years of related experience.
Experience with consolidation software and budgeting/forecasting software packages.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience using data tools such as Power BI is a plus.
Exposure to SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems strongly preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to complete work in a focused and structured manner.
Strong strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making.
Demonstrated understanding of financials and budgeting processes
Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences.
Ability to negotiate and influence others.
Must be comfortable working with and presenting to executive-level leaders.
Experience conducting tactical analysis using large data sets to better understand performance trends mitigate risks identify threats and realize opportunities.
Education and Certification:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant equivalent work experience in lieu of bachelors degree.
Masters degree in Finance Business or related field preferred.

Compensation Range for the Position:
$73236.00 - $95206.50 - $117177.00 USDTarget Cash Profit Sharing for the Position:
8.00%Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
