Behavioral Health Receptionist

Community Medical and Dental Care in Rockland County NY is seeking aFront Desk Receptionist for our busy outpatient Behavioral Health Department for the afternoon and Sunday hours. Join an enthusiastic team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet patients in a prompt courteous and helpful manner
• Check in patients verify and updatedemographics insurance and other necessary information
• Collect co-payments and past-due balances
• Provide documents that need to be completed prior to patients visit
• Complete necessary authorizations &referrals
• Answer and screen all incoming callsrespondto routine questions and transfer calls as needed
• Managethe waiting roompatient activity andpatient flow

REQUIREMENTS:
