| Job Description: | The UF Health CancerInstituteis the 72nd NCI designated cancer center and the onlyone at a public university in the State of Florida. As a matrix cancer center we spanallof the University of Floridas 16 colleges pulling together a world-class multi-disciplinary membership of over 350 faculty and 150 staff to address the challenges of the cancer burden faced by the population we serve as we work together to find a cure. As aCancer Clinical Biospecimen Support Unit Manageratthe UF Health CancerInstitute(UFHCI) youwill be responsible for managing and providing leadership for the UF Health Cancer Institute Clinical Biospecimen Support Unit including oversight of biobank operations laboratory services and clinical research specimen workflows as well as supervision of assigned staff. Strong leadership operational management experience in a clinical research or laboratory environment and the ability to work collaboratively with investigators clinical teams and institutional leadership are necessary for success in this role.
