What youll build

As a development architect youll architect and deliver intelligent distributed systems that power large-scale AI and large language model (LLM) capabilities across SAPs take ideas from concept to production building robust backend services APIs and data platforms that enable real-world enterprise-grade AI applications.

Youll design and optimize systems across a modern technology stack working with languages such as Go Java and Python and technologies like Kafka Postgres HANA and gRPC. Your work will directly impact how AI is embedded into SAP products driving smarter automation better decision-making and enhanced customer experiences.

Youll tackle challenges around scalability performance and reliability while integrating advanced AI capabilities into enterprise parallel youll help define technical standards and mentor engineers ensuring innovation translates into high-quality production-ready systems.

What you bring

You bring deep technical expertise a strong sense of ownership and a track record of delivering complex systems at scale.

Experience

• 10 years of software engineering experience delivering distributed systems in production
• Proven experience architecting scalable backend systems APIs and data platforms
• Hands-on programming experience in Go Java or Python
• Experience working with distributed systems technologies (e.g. messaging systems databases RPC frameworks)
• Practical experience applying AI/ML techniques including LLMs in real-world products
• Experience leading initiatives end-to-endfrom design through deployment and optimization
• Strong exposure to CI/CD testing practices and cloud-native architectures
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in global environments
• Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering technical excellence
