Salary: $17.60/hour (plus 4% vacation pay as a benefit)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Cuso International is seeking a detailoriented and motivated individual to support compliance audit and riskmanagement activities across our programs and internal systems.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an enthusiastic organized and proactive individual who is eager to learn and comfortable working in a collaborative fastpaced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in compliance accountability and international development operations and brings a high level of attention to detail and professionalism to their work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with reviews of antiterrorism compliance and related documentation.
- Conduct an in-depth audit of in-kind revenues including verification and documentation review.
- Review and assess timesheet compliance in line with internal and donor requirements.
- Provide support in gathering documentation and responding to questions related to Cusos annual external audit.
- Assist in assessing compliance with Cusos corporate policies and procedures including finance procurement and risk management policies.
- Conduct SharePoint filing reviews to support consistency completeness and adherence to documentation standards.
- Support due diligence reviews of project partners.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a postsecondary program in a related field such as finance business administration accounting economics public administration audit risk management or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in international development compliance audit governance or risk management.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Strong written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm curiosity and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
ELIGIBILITY
This position is funded through theCanada Summer Jobs program. Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age.
- Be a Canadian citizen permanent resident or have refugee protection status in Canada.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
