About the Role:
The Transportation Provider is responsible for delivering safe reliable transportation to and from medical appointments both locally and out of town for eligible Tribal Members. This role is essential to ensuring timely dependable service. Additional duties may be assigned to support program and departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides safe reliable transportation to medical appointments and related services
  • Operates vehicles responsibly and promotes passenger safety
  • Performs basic vehicle checks reports maintenance needs and keeps vehicles clean
  • Maintains schedules records and clear communication with management
  • Follows confidentiality guidelines and reports safety concerns as required
  • Assists with additional transportation needs and duties as assigned
Core Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year related employment experience in the transportation field preferred.
  • Must possess certification of Mandatory Reporter Training or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
  • Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain certification within ninety (90) days of the date of hire.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and an insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines.
  • Ability to work odd and irregular hours as needed.
  • Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
  • Ability to travel and participate in required training leadership development and other events
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully.

Preference will be given in accordance with Title 33 (Tribal Employment Rights) of the Tribal Code/DFWP.
