Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Sr Manger Global Strategic Marketing to join our MedTech Surgery business in Cincinnati OH. (hybrid)

The MedTech Surgery organization was recently established to combine Ethicons market-leading surgical portfolio with the Robotics & Digital Solutions portfolio. The MedTech Surgical organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery Endo Mechanical and Energy OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics) MONARCH (Flexible Robotics) and MedTech Digital.
The Senior Marketing Manager Emerging Competitors Global Strategic Marketing will generate the Strategy for Emerging Competitors for Advanced Energy and Stapling. The Senior manager reports to the Global Vice President GSM Advanced Stapling.
Key Responsibilities
Maximize J&Js differentiationthrough design quality and evidence.
Execute EndoMech and Energy 3.0 competitive testing develop claims and collaterals
Develop value-based story beyond product level (e.g. in tender/hospital cost control/price premium justification in listing; Quality/sustainability/HEMA/IP Intelligence etc.)
Continue content delivery across all regions (e.g. Comm Ed Ambassadors Impact monthly webinar etc.)
Review competitive product launches semi-annually and adjust strategies/te
sting proactively.Reevaluate the product portfolio and pricing tiers to ensure alignment with market demands and competitive positioning.
Deliver innovative and differentiatedproducts and solutions with speed while reducing COGS across the Advanced Stapling and Energy portfolios.
Continuously gather the latest competitive insights on innovation and share this information with the front-end team for future product development
Maintain a relentless focus on improving COGS through local sourcing partnerships and development opportunities
Fortify IP & Trademark positionin key category and future pipeline.
Reverse enginner competitor IP strategy in partnership with R&D
Lead legal teams focus support legal cases as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
A minimum of a bachelors degree is required (advanced degree in a related field preferred)
A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience in roles that demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise in relevant areas such as product or disease state marketing strategy sales professional or commercial education and execution roles
Strong marketing experience of developing strategic recommendations with the ability to interpret complex data identify commonalities and differences among regional insights and synthesize insights into actionable strategies
Commercial / in market sales experience driving execution of portfolio strategies.
Strong business analytics and forecasting customer insights development and understanding of core marketing levers
Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise with a demonstrated ability to achieve business results by influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority
Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization with people with diverse background and expertise and deliver results
Effective communication and influencing skills ability to work in a team environment and be customer/market oriented
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to deliver consistently strong results
Cross-functional collaboration experience and end-to-end mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience interpreting clinical and statistical data to generate insights and develop strategies and tactics
Experience collaborating with international colleagues to generate aligned strategies and tactics
Knowledge of advanced surgical stapling products and Energy products and the clinical procedures they are used in
Knowledge of global medical technology markets

$122000.00 - $212750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
