About the company
Remote World is partnering with a Nigerian market research firm to hire for this role. They supply business intelligence data to corporate clients across Africa and need a detail-oriented researcher to grow the team.
The role
Youll collect verify and structure business data from online sources company details pricing contact records industry figures and keep it accurate and up to date. Your work feeds directly into reports that clients act on so accuracy is everything.
What youll do
- Research and collect business data from websites directories and databases
- Enter and format data accurately in spreadsheets and CRM tools
- Cross-check records for consistency and flag discrepancies
- Help compile data into structured tables for client reports
- Take ownership of specific data sets and keep them current
What youll need
- High accuracy and patience with repetitive data tasks
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
- Good research instincts able to find reliable information online
- Able to manage time well and meet daily output targets
Nice to have
- Experience with CRM or data management tools
- Background in business economics or a related field
- Familiarity with LinkedIn company registries or trade databases
