AI Product OwnerManager

Position Overview:
Seeking an AI Product Owner who operates natively inside modern AI development environments such as Cursor Claude and MS CoPilot Studio. This role bridges product strategy AI-assisted software development data/BI and modern application delivery to build intuitive dashboards reports and custom applications that serve operational teams and executives.

You will partner closely with engineering data and business stakeholders to design and deliver AI-enabled reporting platforms semantic data models and React-based applications backed by modern data warehouses. You must be comfortable building rapid working POCs using AI coding tools and reporting technologies not just writing requirements.

Your responsibilities involve creating launching and supporting production applications and services for every Disney Studios banner such as Marvel Studios MPP TCS SL Marvel Animation Pixar DTVA WDAS and ILM/LucasFilm. This role requires someone skilled at turning broad requirements into functional systems in an AI coding environment.


Must-Haves:
1.) 5 years in Product Management Technical Product Management or Business Systems/Product roles
2.) Proficient w/Data warehouses such as MS SQL Snowflake or Databricks
3.) Strong use of Cursor Claude or Copilot in a development workflow
4.) Versed in building dashboards reporting platforms and custom React web applications
5.) Claude/Cursor
6.) Expert in SQL Python and React

Technical Fluency:
Frontend: React TypeScript
Backend: Kotlin Spring Boot REST APIs
Data/BI: SQL semantic modeling dashboard design performance optimization
AI Dev Tools: Cursor Claude Copilot workflows Agent Design
Dev Practices: Git code reviews CI/CD documentation via AI tools

• Developed applications dashboards and tools employing AI coding assistants concentrating on financial aspects within a Media Production setting.
• Proficient in prompt engineering for code generation and refactoring
• Skilled in transitioning legacy dashboards (MicroStrategy BI Tableau) and reports to a React framework with expertise in semantic and data modeling as well as performance tuning and optimization.
• Know how to evaluate AI-generated code for quality and security
• Can quickly prototype a React dashboard or API specification with AI tools and minimal management input
• Strongly preferred: experience with media theatrical production financial or operational data environments
• Possess hands-on experience in film production and are well-versed in the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the film industry.

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the product vision for AI-enabled dashboards reporting platforms and internal applications
• Translate business requirements into AI-accelerated development workflows using Cursor Claude and CoPilot
• Partner with engineers to design semantic data models BI/reporting layers React web applications and Kotlin/Spring Boot services
• Drive modernization of legacy BI/reporting into AI-assisted React-based application frameworks
• Create MVPs and mockups directly using AI coding tools to accelerate delivery
• Work with data teams on Microsoft SQL Snowflake Databricks data modeling and performance optimization
• Establish standards for AI-assisted code quality review and governance
• Lead requirements/working sessions where you conduct rapid prototyping with end users
• Serve as the translator between business stakeholders data teams and developers

Nice-to-Haves:

• Financial background (exp. w/cost reports etc.) a HUGE bonus
• Experience creating and maintaining reporting assets in MicroStrategy (Strategy)
• Basic testing knowledge and using AI tools to help create tests
• DB connectivity and safe credential handling REST API integration
• Ability to convert requirements into working models APIs and front-end experiences
• Git / PR process and basic code review understanding
• Experience writing user stories PRDs and technical documentation
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business Systems or equivalent practical experience in AI-enabled software delivery
