Workday HCM Engineer

As a Workday HCM Engineer you will serve as a subject matter expert across multiple Workday HCM Modules ensuring that configurations across Core HCM Talent Time & Absences are scalable high-performing and built to support a best-in-class employee experience.

Duties/Day to Day Overview

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday configurations across Core HCM Recruiting Talent Compensation and Time & Absence.
• Design and deliver scalable Workday solutions across core HCM ensuring our technology enables best in class Team Member experiences and supports strategic business outcomes.
• Configure test and deploy changes in Workday HCM modules (Core HCM Time & Absence Recruiting Compensation Security) ensuring technology enables strategic business outcomes and seamless employee journeys.
• Support and continuously evolve existing modules including Learning & Development and Performance ensuring we leverage the latest Workday features.
• Document business processes procedures and workflows while communicating technical constraints and possibilities to non-technical functional leaders.
• Ability to conduct deep-dive analysis of the existing landscape to identify and remediate technical debt. Improve system performance error handling and overall architectural scalability.
• Support Workday biannual releases including feature impact assessments configuration updates and regression testing.
• Provide user training documentation and production support.

Top Requirements

(Must haves)

• 7 years of hands-on Workday experience. You should have a proven track record of delivering effective solutions in complex enterprise-level environments.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong proficiency in Workday Security models and Business Process (BP) configuration.
• Workday Certification in Core HCM is strongly preferred
• Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and verbal written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
