Position Overview:

As part of the talented Human Resources team you will responsible for cultivating partnerships with distribution & operations leaders within the Menomonee Falls WI location to continually enhance our ability to achieve results through people. This role will promote Navico Groups values in Menomonee Falls through human resources management - including performance management employee relations workforce planning conflict management and employee engagement.

The successful candidate will actively seek information to understand employees circumstances problems expectations & needs and assimilate this information to apply novel ways to manage through work problems and opportunities.

Success in this role will require a flexible skill set including the ability to think strategically execute tactically and collaborate across many teams levels and situations.

Essential Functions:

Provide day-to-day human resources onsite support to employees with the underlying objective to strengthen employee relations and engagement to enhance a positive work environment.

Build and cultivate consultative relationships with respective leaders by meeting regularly and providing insight and guidance on maximizing team performance.

Manage and resolve employee relations issues within operations and distribution center.

Counsel employees and managers on job related issues including providing assistance to managers on performance improvement and disciplinary actions.

Conduct investigations and make recommendations based on findings by providing problem resolution through policies and procedures interpretation.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to assist in recruitment and selection processes as necessary and execute sourcing strategies local career events and local marketing campaigns.

Facilitate new hire on-boarding to ensure quick and effective assimilations to the company.

Plan organize and lead local human resource activities including participating in events committees for employee engagement events and community involvement events.

Consult and advise on cyclical human resource processes such as succession planning talent reviews performance reviews and the annual merit planning cycle.

Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.

Utilize HRIS information and other business information to develop and provide reports; perform in-depth analysis for various HR programs and results.

Meet with employees supervisors and business leaders to address concerns and mediate differences between employees and managers.

Partner with HR Shared Services and HR COEs on implementation of HR initiatives/services.

Collaborate with internal client groups to enhance organizational capability by delivering focused and targeted L&D initiatives.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

3 years experience within a Human Resources team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work with employees management and governmental regulatory agencies

Proficient use of Outlook 365 & Microsoft Office (Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint)

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities

Self-initiative and self-directive

Confidentially manage HR and Medical related information and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct

Knowledge of federal state and local laws and regulations i.e. OSHA FLSA FMLA HIPAA DOT and COBRA

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment beneficial

Some experience in a leadership-type role preferred

Proficient in an HRIS system preferred experience with Workday HRIS and Dimensions timekeeping is a plus

Working Conditions:

The employee must be able to perform the below essential functions of the position satisfactorily and if requested reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential function of their job absent undue hardship.

Office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at times 50% of the time.

Distribution and manufacturing environment. The person will spend about 50% of the time traversing throughout the distribution and manufacturing areas and will need to be comfortable doing so while adhering to safety standards

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator copy machine and computer printer.

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

While standard office hours are common there may be a need for flexibility to accommodate meetings training sessions or urgent HR issues.

The position may require occasional day and/or overnight domestic and international travel by auto or airplane up to 10% of the time Add Pay Verbiage

The hiring range for this position is $62800 $90000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
