Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM 04:30 PM)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in oncology infusion therapy and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care along with supporting clinical education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy immunotherapy and supportive treatments
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects effectively
• Ensure safe handling and administration of oncology medications
• Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans side effects and follow-up care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

Education & Training Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and delivering educational programs for nursing staff and students
• Identify learning needs and contribute to training materials and clinical instruction
• Support evidence-based practice and continuous clinical improvement
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology Infusion experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of infusion therapy and oncology care

Preferred:

• Experience in outpatient infusion settings
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
