AUTOSAR Integration Engineer - Bootloader

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AUTOSAR Integration Engineer with strong expertise in bootloader development and secure boot implementation. The ideal candidate will work on boot integration configuration and validation while supporting advanced automotive embedded systems within a high-performance OEM environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bootloader integration configuration and validation activities

  • Execute bench testing based on functional requirements

  • Provide Tier 1 support for customer secure boot implementations

  • Debug and resolve boot-related issues across embedded systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration

  • Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards and architecture

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in automotive embedded systems

  • Strong programming skills in C and Embedded C

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • FBL (Flash Bootloader) development

    • Boot Manager

    • Secure Boot & Key Provisioning

    • Regionalization

  • Solid understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and methodology

  • Experience with communication protocols:

    • CAN / CAN FD

    • LIN

    • SPI

    • Ethernet

  • Knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services)

  • Understanding of embedded controllers and microprocessors (multi-core memory management RTOS)

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles

  • Strong analytical logical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SoC boot concepts and HSM (Hardware Security Module)

  • Exposure to Ethernet-based architectures

  • Experience with SDV / VIP architecture and ITCG testing

  • Familiarity with customer-specific tools like MCGT and DPS

  • Hands-on experience with tools:

    • CANoe

    • Lauterbach

    • ISOLAR

    • RTC / JIRA

    • Git

    • Unit Testing frameworks

Work Model / Location

  • Location: Milford Michigan

  • Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid (as per client requirement)
