Job Summary
Job Title : Production Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute daily production surveillance for offshore assets (rates pressures downtime constraints).
- Monitor well subsea and facility performance; identify anomalies and optimization opportunities.
- Validate and maintain production data quality (well tests allocations data gaps).
- Perform production analysis (deferment injection shortfall performance trends).
- Maintain and enhance dashboards and surveillance reporting tools.
- Support waterflood monitoring and optimization activities.
- Collaborate with operations subsurface and engineering teams for performance improvement.
- Escalate complex issues with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Support troubleshooting and short-cycle production optimization.
- Ensure adherence to safety operational and environmental standards.
Requisites
- Bachelors degree in Petroleum Chemical Mechanical or related engineering field.
- Strong understanding of production engineering fundamentals (well performance constraints flow assurance basics).
- Experience with production surveillance and data analysis workflows.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel charting and basic database querying.
- Familiarity with production surveillance tools and data systems (dashboards historian data allocation systems).
- Working knowledge of tools such as OFM Kappa IPM or similar.
- Basic programming/automation skills (Python SQL VBA)
- Understanding of waterflooding and reservoir interactions
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage tasks independently.
