- Established Cardiology practice with 14 Physicians and 11 Advanced Practice Providers who provide coverage at UnityPoint Health - St. Lukes Hospital
- Main office is located in Cedar Rapids with satellite offices in Manchester and Anamosa
- Diverse practice covers sub-specialization in interventional cardiology structural heart disease peripheral vascular electrophysiology and heart failure
- Part of a large multi-specialty group including primary care providing a built-in referral base
- Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- 10-12 patients/day in clinic and inpatient setting
- Full time position
- Combined inpatient and outpatient position supporting the EP physician team in the hospital and the office
- NO call requirement
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Cardiology experience preferred
- ACLS required upon hiring
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
