Job Summary: Packages finished product distributes and loads products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read production schedule shipping orders or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.

• Convey material from receiving or production areas to storage or other areas.

• Sort and place material in rows according to size type style color or code.

• Fill shipping schedule or requests for material or other stock items and distribute items to production station or loading dock.

• Mark materials with identifying information.

• Open bales crates and other containers.

• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

• Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant.

• Use computer to enter records.

• Compile pick list from shipping schedule.

• Drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to production station or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.

• Package finished product in paper plastic or super sacks per production schedule.

• Fills bulk cars from production or warehouse inventory.

• Form staple fill and glue shipping cartons.

• Operate bag press bulk car winch and super sack packer.

• Perform limited inspection of bulk car box car and containers before loading.

Hourly Rate:$28.49

Increase: 7/1/2026 to $29.62

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is provided and required in certain areas.
