As a DevOps Engineer you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines automating infrastructure and ensuring the reliability of Axon Networks mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across networking application and database layers.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Ansible or equivalent.
- Enhance system observability through metrics logging and alerting using tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack.
- Maintain high availability and reliability for critical networking systems by implementing failover mechanisms and disaster recovery strategies.
- Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical incidents and ensure rapid resolution.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD CircleCI or ArgoCD.
- Expertise in containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS routing and load balancing.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in the networking industry or managing networking-specific applications.
- Knowledge of TR-069 or similar networking protocols.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer Expert etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
