Job Summary
Admissions Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536101) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should:
possess a good University degree preferably with three years full-time work experience in student admissions or a related field;
demonstrate exceptional attention to detail a strong sense of responsibility and excellent teamwork skills;
exhibit strong organizational problem-solving and time-management capabilities to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines;
have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
be empathetic kind and approachable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and support the concerns and needs of others.
The appointee will:
assist with the admissions process for the Facultys undergraduate programme;
handle procedural and administrative tasks including the management of application forms databases and communications; and
work closely with the Head of Admissions and the programme team to ensure the smooth operation of admissions processes and documentation workflows.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
