Job Summary
The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker. This is a part-time evening non-benefitted position involving up to 28 hours per week. Duties may include but are not limited to: perform skilled service and maintenance duties including repairs greasing lubricating fueling equipment and servicing of City vehicles automotive equipment truck and/or heavy construction equipment. Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties including the general repair maintenance and safety inspection of gasoline diesel automotive and heavy equipment used by City departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience. Steel-toed boots and work uniforms will be provided. Hours for the position are Monday Friday evenings between 5pm-10pm with a flexible start time.
