PositionSummary
The Data Engineeris responsible fordesigning building andmaintainingscalable data solutions that support reporting analytics and business decision-making across the organization. This role focuses on developing andoptimizingdatabase objects building reliable ETL pipelines and deliveringhighqualityreports and dashboards. Working in a Microsoft-based data environment the Data Engineer partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data accuracy performance and usability.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Design create andmaintainSQLServerdatabase objects including tables views stored procedures and functions.
Developmaintain and monitor ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ingest transform and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
Build andmaintaina centralized Data Warehouse to support analytics reporting and downstream data consumption.
Develop and support SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards ensuring data isaccuratetimely and presented in a clear business-friendly manner.
Implement and manage Azure Analysis Services (AAS) models to support semantic layers and enterprise reporting.
Analyze andoptimizeSQL queries and data models to improve performance scalability and reliability.
Perform data quality assessments and proactively identify data integrity issues.
Collaborate with business users analysts and leadership to understand reporting and data requirements.
Establish and support data tools and reporting solutions for department and unit managers.
Document data pipelines data models and reporting solutions following best practices.
Stay current with Microsoft data platform features and recommend improvements to existing solutions.

Work Environment
This position performs its duties fromour Orange CA orNew Braunfels TX office. The roleoperatesin a professional officeenvironment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones mobile devices andrelated technology.
Physical Requirements
While performing the functions of this job the employeeis regularly required tosit;frequentlyrequiredto talk and hear use hands and fingers to type scroll and use computer equipment. The employeeis required tohave close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data andfigures; transcribing; viewing a computer and multiple screens; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is afull-time exemptposition. Days and hours worked are dependent on business needs and workload. General availability during regular business hours Monday through Friday is on the candidateand /or position a hybrid work arrangement may be considered; howevera minimum of three (3) or more days per week in the office isrequiredto support executive collaboration leadership presence and cross-functional engagement. Some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may berequiredas job duties demand.
Travel
There is no major travel requirement for this position. However infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s) attend conferences/industry events etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat isrequired. This event is a 2-3-day at our annual User Conference as assigned.
Salary Range
The salary range is$100k - $125kannually. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server including performance tuning and query optimization.
Hands-on experience building ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Experience designing and supporting Data Warehouse solutions.
Proficiencywith SSRS and Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
Experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS) or similar semantic modeling tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based and onpremise Microsoft data technologies.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
