Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

• Provide personal care including assistance with bathing dressing grooming and toileting

• Assist with meal preparation feeding and monitoring nutritional intake.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning laundry and shopping.

• Monitor and record changes in clients health or behaviour reporting concerns promptly.

• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity privacy and safeguarding at all times.

Skills Experiences and Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering high-quality personal care including assistance with bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility support.

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning laundry meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment.

• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments shopping and social activities promoting independence and community engagement.

• Strong ability to accurately document services provided record incidents and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus

• A valid NDIS Check or willing to obtain one

• Current First Aid Certificate as this is necessary to complete personal care

• Valid police check or is willing to obtain one

• Willing to travel to Port Melbourne
