Job Summary
As a Business Analyst within JPMorganChase you will play a pivotal role in partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver practical scalable solutions using Alteryx SQL Power Apps Power Automate SharePoint and Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) capabilities. Youll contribute across the delivery lifecycle from understanding requirements and designing solutions to building testing deploying and supporting tools that improve operational efficiency and enable business outcomes
Job responsibilities
- Build and enhance data workflows using Alteryx and SQL to support reporting analytics and operational processes.
- Develop low-code applications and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate integrating with data sources and enterprise platforms as needed.
- Support SharePoint solutions including site enhancements document management workflows permissions lists/libraries and collaboration enablement.
- Enable ESD (Enterprise Service Desk) improvements by developing tools automations and lightweight scripts to enhance ticket intake routing tracking and resolution efficiency.
- Participate in requirements gathering solution design testing UAT support deployment and post-release support ensuring alignment to control risk and compliance expectations.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting and maintain clear technical documentation runbooks and best practices to ensure solution stability and continuity.
- Collaborate across teams communicate progress effectively and contribute to continuous improvement through learning and feedback.
- Hands-on experience (academic internship or professional) with Alteryx for data preparation blending and workflow development.
- Strong foundational SQL skills (queries joins aggregations data validation and troubleshooting).
- Experience building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Familiarity with SharePoint for site creation content management and integration
- Exposure to service desk / ESD processes and an interest in automation for operational efficiency.
Strong problem-solving attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data quality checks monitoring and workflow optimization
- Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis documentation and solution development (within approved firm standards).
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
