We are seeking a visionary results-driven and highly influentialSenior Director Cross-Channelto lead the charge in unifying our global media strategy and establishing WPP Media Solutions as the undisputed leader in integrated cross-channel excellence. This pivotal roleis responsible fordefining implementing and scaling a single cohesive Integrated Cross-Channel Strategy across our global network. You will be instrumental in transforming our approach from disparate efforts to a harmonized high-performance global standard directlyimpactingclientsuccessand driving significant revenue growth.

This role requires a unique blend of strategic foresight operational rigor commercial acumen and exceptional leadership to inspire change foster innovation and deliver tangible results across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Strategy Definition: Establish and championinga single cohesive Integrated Cross-Channel Strategy for WPP Media Solutions designed to optimize planning measurement and client outcomes globally.
  • Framework & Playbook Development: Define a robust framework methodologies and best practices for cross-channel planning and execution that can be adopted consistently across all markets.
  • Expansion & Adoption: Lead the expansion of the cross-channel solution driving adoption and adherence to new standards across WPPs international network ensuring consistent application and quality.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key internal stakeholders (e.g. agency leads data scientists technology teams) and external vendors to enhance our cross-channel capabilities and ensure best-in-class solutions.
  • Orchestration & Delivery: Orchestrate local and regional delivery through agile market squads ensuring consistent application of the global strategy and framework to deliver outcome-based performance for clients.
  • Test Learn & Scale: Lead squads across priority markets to run rapid test-and-learn sprints with global and hyper-local clients fostering a two-way innovation loopwhere global standards guide local experiments and validated local learnings are scaled via a global playbook.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive and deliver significant revenue growth with a direct responsibility for achieving cross-channel revenue through standardized approaches faster experimentation and scaled adoption across markets.
  • Compliance & Governance: Provide clear compliance guidelines and establish governance models to ensure consistent execution quality and ethical standards across all cross-channel activities.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as athoughtleader internally and externally on the future of cross-channel mediarepresentingWPP Media Solutions at industry events conferences and with key clients and partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:Stronglevel ofexperience in media planning strategy and cross-channel marketing within a large agency network major media publisher or a global brand witha significant portionoperatingat a mor seniorlevel.
  • Strategic Acumen: Deep and nuanced understanding of the global media landscape encompassing traditional and digital channels advanced data solutions ad tech mar tech and the intricate interplayfor truly integrated campaigns.
  • Commercial Impact: Demonstrated ability to define and execute strategies that directly contribute to substantial revenue growth and improved client outcomes. Proven experience managing and exceeding significant revenue targets is essential.
  • Framework Development: Extensive experience in defining developing and successfully implementing global frameworks best practices and playbooks within complex matrixed organizational structures.
  • Client-Centricity: Strong executive-level client-facing skills with a proven ability to deeply understand complex client business challenges articulate sophisticated solutions and build trusted long-term advisory relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Highly analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets derive actionable strategic insights and champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across all levels.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication executive-level presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively influence and align senior stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in marketing Business Administration Communications or a related field from an accredited institution. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
