Job Summary
Position Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automated Quality Engineer to join our QE team supporting a North American banking client.
Standard CET working hours with occasional overlap with North American teams
Work model: Remote or Hybrid (Poland)
Job responsibilities:
Design develop modify and execute automated test scripts for web mobile and API applications
Collaborate closely with developers business analysts product owners and QA leads
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and existing test suites
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Analyze test results log defects and support their resolution
Contribute to test planning test case design and quality reporting
Support regression smoke and functional testing
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience
3 years of experience in test automation
Experience with tools such as Selenium (preferred) Cypress Playwright Postman Rest Assured
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred Python or JavaScript)
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit TestNG Mocha Cucumber)
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira Zephyr TestRail)
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Experience using AI tools in testing (e.g. GitHub Copilot M365 Copilot Sealight)
Strong API testing experience (REST/SOAP)
Mobile testing experience (e.g. Appium)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB)
