About the Role:

  • The Financial Analyst GDS TIS plays a key role in enabling strong financial management and informed decision-making across the GDS TIS organization. This role partners closely with operational and leadership stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis accurate reporting and forward-looking forecasts that support strategic and operational objectives.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to budgeting forecasting and monthly close activities ensure data integrity across financial systems and provide actionable recommendations to help the business achieve its financial targets. This is an opportunity for a highly analytical collaborative professional to make a meaningful impact while supporting compliance governance and continuous improvement within a dynamic technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely financial support analysis and interpretation of financial and operational performance to stakeholders within the GDS TIS department.
  • Partner collaboratively with key GDS TIS stakeholders to collect and validate labor and non-labor inputs for the development of accurate departmental budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of monthly financial reporting data across TIS financial reporting systems.
  • Coordinate and manage monthly accrual processes to enhance accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Develop and deliver monthly financial reporting packages for TIS Leadership including analysis of Budgets Forecasts and Actuals along with actionable insights and mitigation strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Produce ad hoc and off-cycle financial analysis reports and data insights as requested ensuring relevance accuracy and clarity to support effective management decision-making.
  • Recommend and promote a standardized streamlined analytics approach across the GDS TIS organization to improve consistency efficiency and insight generation.
  • Support compliance with SOX controls internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements for the GDS TIS function.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes reporting accuracy and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in business performance analytics financial analysis or related roles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated financial modeling skills and the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and budget owners.
  • Proven experience analyzing and interpreting large complex datasets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Finance-related professional designation (CMA CA CPA CGA) or MBA.
  • Solid understanding of Information Technology frameworks operating models and cost structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team player and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen including knowledge of regulatory environments financial management strategies and reporting requirements.
  • Experience prioritizing work implementing efficient processes and driving ongoing improvements to streamline and optimize financial operations.
