Class 2 Shuttle Bus Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a passenger bus to transport workers to and from various project site locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to potential changes according to project needs
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Ensure all passengers are transported in accordance with safety regulations and Ledcor policies
• Maintain clear communication with your reporting supervisors and site personnel
• Navigate public roads and construction areas with a high level of awareness and caution
• Keep accurate records including KMs trip logs and incident reports
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all workers

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3 years experience operating passenger buses or shuttle vehicles
• Must hold a valid class 2 drivers license with a clean 3-year drivers abstract
• Strong defensive driving and hazard awareness
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• CSTS-2020 Fundamentals and WHMIS 2015 (training provided)
• Must be willing and able to assist with labouring duties when you are not driving the bus

Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday 12 hours per day with potential overtime required over the summer months on the weekend
• Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where needed
