Senior Data Scientist – Monetization Analytics

Team Red Dog is hiring a Senior Data Scientist Monetization Analytics for our client a Fortune 50 technology leader at the forefront of gaming and digital experiences. This hybrid role in Redmond Washington sits within a high-impact data science team supporting one of the worlds most iconic gaming platforms where youll apply advanced analytics experimentation and predictive modeling to optimize subscription marketplace and user-generated content revenue streams. You will design and analyze A/B tests build LTV and attribution models and partner closely with product finance and marketing to influence monetization strategy at scale. This is a highly visible role where your insights directly shape player experience and business outcomes across a global ecosystem.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

1. Python and Databricks (4 years): building data pipelines conducting advanced analytics and developing predictive models at scale
2. Attribution and causal inference (4 years): designing experiments interpreting A/B tests and measuring impact of product and pricing changes
3. Data storytelling and stakeholder communication (5 years): presenting insights influencing decisions and training partners on data outputs
4. SQL and large-scale data processing: querying complex datasets and supporting ETL workflows

How you will make an impact:
Partner with product finance and marketing teams to define data-driven monetization strategies
Build and refine lifetime value (LTV) models and analyze cross-product user spending behavior
Design execute and interpret A/B tests related to pricing UX and marketplace features
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
Deliver clear actionable insights that influence senior stakeholder decisions
Improve content discovery recommendation systems and marketplace performance
Support expansion of user-generated content offerings and digital marketplace competitiveness

The expertise you bring:
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related technical field
810 years of experience in data science analytics or related roles
Strong experience with Python SQL and modern data platforms such as Databricks
Deep understanding of experimentation frameworks and causal inference methodologies
Experience working with large-scale data systems and ETL processes
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills
