Title: Technician Entry-Intermediate
Details:
- Status: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 0800hrs - 1630hrs EST
- Location: On-Site; Aberdeen MD 21001
- Supervisory: No
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dependable entry-level or intermediate Technician/Assembler to join our Team. No prior assembly experience is required but preferred. We provide full training on all tools processes safety procedures and job tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing or production.
Key Roles/Duties:
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions and training provided
- Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Report material shortages equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
- Work cooperatively with Team members and Supervisors
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Learn new tasks and cross-train in other assembly areas as needed.
- Complete company-sponsored training in J-STD-001 Certification soldering standards and earn certification
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- No previous experience is required; training is provided
- High school diploma
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to learn and work in a Team environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) certification
- Prior Class 3 Soldering Experience
- Previous electronic assembly/production experience
Travel:
- Up to 5.0% of Continental United States (CONUS) travel less
