Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Pediatrician/Family Medicine - Great Barrington MA

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Pediatrician/Family Medicine provider to join the team at a critical access hospital in Great Barrington Massachusetts. This facility offers a welcoming inpatient nursery setting and is looking for coverage due to the retirement of one of their providers. The ideal candidate will cover one weekend per month responding to pediatric needs while being part of a supportive medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care in the inpatient nursery setting.
Manage non-invasive ventilator support including bipap and cpap.
Perform intubation procedures as necessary.
Conduct newborn resuscitation.
Deliver care for newborns weighing over 2000 grams.
Respond to in-house codes particularly post delivery resuscitations.
Collaborate with an adult medicine hospitalist during coverage.
Utilize Meditech for documentation and electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Pediatrics or Family Practice (REQUIRED)
NRP certification (REQUIRED)
Active Massachusetts medical license (PREFERRED)

License and Certification Requirements:
