This is a fulltime 12-month contract position.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join the CAWRA team based at our Materials Recovery Facility in Kilburn.

About the role:

Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Programs in this role you will play a key role in coordinating projects developing policy and strategy delivering education programs and driving positive behaviour change across communities and industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver circular economy waste and resource recovery projects aligned with CAWRA and constituent Councils strategies
• Coordinate education engagement and behaviourchange programs including Rethink Reset Recycle and Going Circular to 2030
• Provide expert technical advice through reporting business cases service reviews audits and data analysis
• Manage stakeholders consultants procurement contracts budgets and external grant funding

About you:

Youll bring:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• An evidence-based and proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Experience working with communities businesses and stakeholders to support behaviour change
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex projects ideally within waste management sustainability or circular economy programs
• The ability to work collaboratively across organisations
• Current DHS Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain prior to commencement is essential

About CAWRA:

This position is employed by the City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE) and seconded to Central Adelaide Waste and Recycling Authority (CAWRA) supporting City of Charles Sturt (CCS) and City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE).

CAWRA is a team of passionate waste and recycling advocates working on behalf of our two Councils to run a wide range of programs and services that support recycling and waste reduction.

This is a Level 6 position with a current salary range of $112394 - $120199 (depending on qualifications and experience) per annum plus Super.
