WhatYoullDo

Youll join a close-knit and high-performing legal function in London working across a wide variety of legal matters that keep pace with the growth of the business. Day-to-day this means:

• Negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contractsclient agreements supplier contracts technology deals and key banking relationships

• Providing practical commercially grounded regulatory and legal advice across multiple business functions

• Supporting the legal teams work on data protection IP and emerging areas as needed

• Contributing to legal team projectsimproving templates processes and governance as the function scales

• Working directly with senior stakeholders across the business including at C-suite level

• Managing and working with external law firms on differing litigation matters

WhoYouAre

What youll need

Were looking for someone who brings both strong legal skills and the right attitude for fast-paced in-house work:

• Around 45 years PQE (England & Wales qualified)

• Solid commercial contracts experience with a financial services payments fintech or banking background

• Data protection experience (GDPR / UK GDPR)

• Comfortable with regulatory complexity-FCA-regulated environment experience is a strong plus

• Whether youre stepping in-house from private practice or moving from another in-house role youll need to demonstrate genuine commercial pragmatism and an appetite for breadth

• Calm under pressure great with people and genuinely excited about AI and technology

• Experience working cross-jurisdiction is advantageous
