Application Support Application Steward

Position Description:

CGI is seeking Application Support / Application Stewards to support and sustain critical business applications within a managed services environment for a large-scale Oil & Gas operation. This role is accountable for ensuring application stability supporting production continuity and driving incremental improvements aligned to business priorities. The successful candidate will support and enhance existing business applications while also contributing to the development of new digital solutions using technologies such React Python R and Microsoft Power Platform.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide ongoing application support for business-critical systems ensuring high availability and performance
Act as the application steward maintaining deep understanding of system functionality dependencies and business usage
Manage and resolve incidents service requests and problem records in alignment with SLAs
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to reduce recurring issues
Support minor enhancements and configuration changes within controlled release processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end service continuity
Maintain accurate documentation runbooks and knowledge artifacts
Contribute to service improvement initiatives focused on reliability and efficiency

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience supporting applications in managed services or production support environment
Working knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices
Ability to troubleshoot across application data and integration layers
Strong communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment
Hands-on experience or working knowledge React Python R and Microsoft Power Platform

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting applications within Oil & Gas operations particularly upstream or production-focused systems
Familiarity with systems supporting well operations production reporting or field data capture
Exposure to integrated environments spanning ERP operational systems and data platforms

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60000.00$115000.00. This role is a future opportunity.
