DescriptionNorthwestern Counseling & Support Services Inc. is seeking a highly organized proactive Developmental Services (DS) Residential Coordinator to support the daily operations of our residential programs. This role is central to ensuring consistent high-quality care by coordinating staff schedules supporting program logistics and helping maintain compliance with state regulations and agency standards.
The DS Residential Coordinator oversees and adjusts staffing schedules across programs ensuring appropriate coverage for shifts trainings and on-call needs. They communicate schedule updates clearly track trends and work closely with the Residential Leadership Team to identify gaps improve efficiency and support continuity of addition to scheduling this role assists with hiring processes maintains substitute staff pools and provides administrative support including data tracking documentation review and report preparation.
This position also plays a hands-on role in supporting residential operations helping manage supplies and purchasing assisting with meal planning and occasionally providing direct support to clients to maintain program stability. The Residential Coordinator helps ensure programs are audit-ready by reviewing documentation supporting incident reporting and assisting with licensing and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented communicative and adaptable with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A working knowledge of Developmental Services regulations and a commitment to supporting both staff and clients is essential.
