Housekeeper – Environmental Services (PRN Evenings)

Heres What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 6 months of Hospital or Hotel cleaning experience strongly preferred

What You Will Do

• Empty clean and reline trash containers.
• Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
• Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
• Clean restrooms restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets.
• Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department.
• Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
• Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients family members and staff.

Work hours: PRN Must be flexible and available to work between the hours of 7:00am-11:30pm. Occasional weekends. (Two-week notice will be given upon shift change).
