Full-Time TIG Welder

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding expertise with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication environments. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who demonstrates precision attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds across various materials and applications.

As a TIG Welder with our organization you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of metal components structures and products. You will work with engineering drawings specifications and blueprints to create welds that meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities

Welding Operations

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on various metals including stainless steel aluminum carbon steel and exotic alloys
• Execute precision welds on thin-gauge materials and complex geometries with minimal distortion
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment ensuring proper amperage gas flow and electrode selection
• Maintain consistent weld quality throughout production runs while meeting productivity targets
• Perform both manual and automated TIG welding operations as required by project specifications
• Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards

Fabrication Duties

• Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and welding symbols to determine fabrication requirements
• Measure cut and prepare materials for welding using various tools and equipment
• Fit and tack components together prior to final welding operations
